So, DC. Super duper great time. On the 4th, we were invited to a small party put on by the CVB at the historic Hay Adams Hotel. Atop the hotel, we were stunned to see this vantage point from which we viewed the fireworks, just a few blocks from the White House. And here they are (sorry for the blurriness):
Fabulous. As we walked back to our hotel, there were people setting off fireworks in little parks all over the city. Here's a shot of fireworks being set off by a ring of people standing around a statue:
