I've been paying attention to how philanthropy is happening in the new media centric world. One item of note that arrived in my in-box this morning: in an email from donorschoose.org, they announced that Stephen Colbert called on his viewers to go to DonorsChoose.org and to support a Pennsylvania classroom project in honor of Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Check it out.
It's funny, timely, and draws attention to the need for public school support. I love it.
